Do you believe in angels?

Imagine there was an angel watching over you who you could call upon for guidance in your daily life. What would you ask for? Health, wealth, happiness or spiritual harmony? First you need to learn how to connect with these celestial beings. Most people find their first encounter with their guardian angel is by “accident” This can often happen at times when you are most relaxed, usually when you are about to fall asleep or have just woken up. You may receive a visitation in your dream, see an image or sparkling lights. You may feel your angels connecting with you through other channels such as sound. You may here the sound of your name or music. This can be something as simple as a song on the radio that has special meaning for you. The important thing is to be aware and look out for signs. 

The best way to communicate with your angels is to confide in them as you would a close friend. Share your thoughts and feelings either in your head or speak aloud. Angels will sense that you are in a receptive state and meditation can help you to do this. You can teach yourself to meditate or use a guided meditation CD such as Angel Workshop by Jacky Newcomb or Healing with the Angels by Doreen Virtue.

Some people enjoy creating rituals such as lighting candles or using crystals to make your meditation feel calmer or more special, but it is not essential. You may also want to try writing a letter to your angels and outline any issues you would like to receive guidance for. The process of writing down your thoughts and feelings can also be healing in itself.

Signs that your angels are communicating with you can include finding white feathers in unexpected places, sensing something soft surrounding you,  the tinkling of tiny bells or smelling a sweet floral fragrance when  you sense your angels are near. Don’t forget, you may experience one, all or none of these signs. Everyone’s experience will be different and individual.
